SpringyCamp Summer 2022

Piloting LibCal Events across the Library Kelsey Vukic and Eimmy Solis, University of Southern California

As a response to universal distance learning and a decrease in course-integrated library instruction, librarians at the University of Southern California developed independent online workshops to offer to students in their liaison groups. While already subscribers to LibCal, many librarians were not utilizing LibCal Events to manage registration, communication, and scheduling. Two librarians familiar with LibCal Events led a pilot project to encourage the use and adoption of LibCal Events for workshops and other USC Libraries programming events. This presentation will discuss the training, system configurations, various targeted audiences, the integration of Zoom, and assessment information on promoting this product across multiple units within USC Libraries.
