Once You Go Springy, You Will Never Go Back - East Central University

Calantha Tillotson will discuss the successful integration of numerous Springshare products throughout my department. LibGuides, LibInsight, and LibWizard have been phenomenal additions to our information literacy instruction efforts. We now have comprehensive LibGuides for every major area of study and every individual class we teach, and all our instruction tutorials are being created in LibWizard. In addition, LibInsight is used to track and analyze all our instruction statistics. As to the reference side of our department, LibAnswers and LibCal have become essential. We track all our reference statistics through LibAnswers and use LibAnswer's LibChat to conduct online reference consultations. LibCal is used to manage all our group study spaces and schedule individual research consultations. All together, Springshare products have made my job as a coordinator manageable, and I would love to explain to other librarians how they can use Springshare products to grow their own instruction and reference programs.
