LibGuides mSite Builder Module

mSite Builder LibGuides Add-On Module

The mSite Builder fully integrates with LibGuides as an add-on module. Use a familiar interface and even reuse Assets from your LibGuides site!

Integrates with both LibGuides and LibGuides CMS.

What Does It Do?

The mSite Builder allows you to build mobile websites / microsites on just about anything. Each mSite Builder subscription gives you the ability to create up to 5 mobile/micro sites. Create independent, purpose-specific info sites. Think of them like apps, but ones you don’t have to install. Just navigate to the URL and you’re there.

Just Some Ideas of What You Could Build

  • Mobile Library Website - Even redirect it from your full website so users don't have to remember another web address.
  • Conference Website - Build a mobile conference website with integrated LibWizard Lite Surveys and feedback forms and greenify your program feedback.
  • Library Tour / Orientation 'App' - Create a library tour and orientation micro-site for self-paced guided tours.
  • Upcoming Events - Advertise your upcoming library events with it's own custom mobile site. Embed LibCal widgets so attendees can register right from their smartphones.
  • Scavenger Hunt - Engage users with a mobile scavenger hunt so they can learn about the library in a fun and immersive way.
  • Pocket Citation Tool - Build a Pocket Citation Tool for users to access mobile-citation tool generators, quick citation tips, and links to your full mobile-friendly Citation LibGuides.

Mobile-Site Building...Made Easy

  • Reusability - With the mSite Builder, take advantage of LibGuides reusability and reuse links, books, databases, media/widgets, and other assets already in your LibGuides system!
  • Branding - Customize each mobile site with it's own header, footer, and box customization options.
  • Access - To access your mSites, users can navigate to a friendly URL or build a custom domain URL. Take advantage of the redirect functionality so smartphone users are auto-redirected to the mobile version from your  'full' site.
