We take the safety and security of your customer data seriously.
- HTTPs Secure - LibConnect is behind an HTTPs secure login.
- Optionally route all logins through your local authentication layer (CAS, SAML, Shibboleth, LDAP, etc.)
- Encrypted In-Transit and At-Rest - Whether siting in our cloud-based database or in-transit, your data is encrypted.
Patron Identifiable Information - You're in Control
You're In Control of What's Collected & Stored
LibConnect requires minimal customer information to create a profile.
Required Fields:
- Customer / Organization Name - First and Last / Organization Title
- Recorded Owner - Librarian or staff member assigned to that customer profile
All additional fields, including email, are optional.
- If you choose not to add customer email, the automated email integration will not be available to you.
